Yuck 'n Yum spring 2012 deadline

So I made a flyer to advertise the next Yuck 'n Yum deadline, and here it is:

Yuck 'n Yum winter 2011 launch

Dear Santa,
All of us at Yuck 'n Yum would love it if you could bring us guests to join us for our 'Christmas in Mexico' party next Wednesday. We will be launching the winter edition of our wonderful zine and would like to share it with lots of lovely people. We can promise festive punch and plenty of games. Of course, as always there will be some tunes and quirky visuals to ease us into the festive spirit. The launch will take place in the Hannah Maclure Centre, University of Abertay, 6-8pm on Wednesday 14th.



Also, two of our Yuck 'n Yum team, Alex Tobin and Gayle Meike, are feeling even more festive than the rest and are taking part in the SUPERCLUB XMAS PARTY 2011
Thursday 15th December

For their very 1st Xmas bash, they have lined up a whole load of early pressies for all you Superclubbers!

Headlining are Mother Ganga (live), with support coming from resident Superclub DJs Fox Gut Daata and The Artist Formerly Known As Mince plus guests Hug Love & Myspace, who will be blasting out dance-crazy-tastic tunes from 80s pop/ ElectronicFunk/ JazzElectro / R&B/ Crunk... and all the way back!

Also on show will be the visual delights from some of their favourite artists that they have been very lucky to have worked with over the past year, they are: Diane Edwards, Lachlann Rattray, Alex Tobin and Gayle Meikle.

To the Chopstix Chinese restaurant last night for the Yuck 'n Yum Christmas meal, an event that is by now something of a seasonal fixture. Festivities continued later at Drouthy's. I took a few photos and here they are:

Last night members of the Yuck 'n Yum team got together to watch the Turner Prize announcement. For the record, I was convinced that George Shaw was nailed on to win. It's as well that I'm not a gambling man. Our discussions may well appear in the zine's next issue in some form.
