During 2011, each of the four Yuck 'n Yum zine covers will be produced by the Glasgow-based artist Ross Hamilton Frew.
"I use sequences, patterns and applied rules to create work through mediums such as painting, printing, drawing, writing and collecting. Each of these ‘investigations’ are informed by, and compliment my previous attempts, and this constant re-examining of my work, my motivations and my decisions gradually constructs a framework for my practice, advising me of my next move. The quality of line I use and the marks I create are very subtle and I use this technique to emphasize the intricate simplicity of form, with human error inevitably intercepting and shaping the outcome of individual pieces."
