Early this year my mum entered a competition in a travel magazine and won it. The prize was a 3 night stay in the 17th century Grade 1 listed house at Penpont in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, South Wales. I'll be going tomorrow along with 9 family members to kick back, read books and eat nice food. Not sure if they do Wi-Fi there in the Welsh mountains, so this 'ere blog may be on hold until I return to Leeds on Friday.
